I know some of you are real Ebay-ers but I have been prowling there off and on for a year and finally decided to do a little ordering. I started with ordering a safari dress from Michael Kors where I knew the size because Norway has MK in shops here. Then I moved to trying some Ralph Lauren where I also felt pretty confident in the sizes. Then a belt and some accessories. All was sent to my mom in the US then shipped to me by her. Of all the 8 pieces I ordered, only 1 did not match my size expectations. So, they fit! The biggest satisfaction came from a leather skirt with snake print that I had to order by the measures...and I LOVE it.

I have posted pictures in my fall collection thread so didn't repeat it here. But I must say, Ebay is pretty wonderful.

Seamstress experience:
I have had some custom blouses made here in Norway. They cost a fortune and I bought the material myself! I took a blouse I loved and had the lady repeat it in three other colors (2 silk, one chiffon) and I am soooooo happy with the results. These are finishing my fall capsule!

On the other hand, I had her also shorten a jacket in the arms, and I am a bit sad about that result. I will be more careful to have the shops shorten in future, so it is their responsibility. The jacket isn't ruined, but a little shorter than I wanted. I had to take out the shoulder pads to give the arms more length again. Good thing I have linebacker shoulders anyway. No picture posible since the jacket is black and impossible to see details.
