Going to see if I can make this happen. I have to be in Boston on Sunday September 20th so I need to work thru what my options are

I’M IN!! Will buy plane tix as soon as you confirm.

BROOKLYN!!! MY TOES ARE TICKLED!!! HOPE we FINALLY meet. My spirits are high, and I'm smiling!!

DIANA!!! SOOOO great to see you chime in! Miss you around here.Hope to hug you again soon

kkards, good thing Boston is very close to NYC! Hope to see you too!

Emily, YAY! Finally we will meet

I've always enjoyed YLF gatherings. Unfortunately, I'm currently a no but I am hoping my plans change. If they do I will let you know!

I'm going to put this date down for a place holder and see if I can possibly make this work. September is a busy travel month for me but this is an amazing opportunity to meet everyone. Will keep you posted.

Oh, no, Lisa! Hope your plans change! It's been tooooo long

Midwestern Chic, hope it works out and excited to meet you!

I am a strong maybe for this one - I would love to attend!

Fantastic! Will be wonderful to see you again, Laurie

I should be able to make this work!

Oh I would love to do that too!

Wooohooo, Staysfit and Momo! Excited to meet you

I would LOVE to join! June, September and October all work, with the only exception being that exact weekend, as DH and I and our little dog Banjo are renting a place for the summer in Sag Harbor (the Hamptons), which ends on September 15, and I need to get back to Florida with them and unpack everything, clean the house etc. I’m sure I won’t be able to fly back with a 2 day turnaround. Any other date is wide open though…

Btw, October is not cold in NYC, it is amazingly perfect weather!

Adding in- Nordstrom NYC is great, and different mix from elsewhere.

Thanks, Theodora! Appreciate the info, and have a wonderful time in the Hamptons

UPDATE: I saw the date so will definitely be there.

I'm in for September or October as the weather will be much better than June. I can't wait until you pick a date so I can start planning.

Anyone know where they are staying? I'd rather stay somewhere in SoHo if that's where we plan to shop. Someone also mentioned Belvedere (Hell's Kitchen) which is Mid-town, so I'm kind of trying to figure out what to do.

Naz, excited to see you again! I don’t know where I’ll stay, but probably a Marriott property since we have a lot of points with them. But I’m open to suggestions.

@Janet. It will be so nice to see you after all these years. Can't wait to see everyone and do a little Fall shopping.

I think I'll have a better idea on the hotel once we decide where we are meeting up.

Janet if you want to push the boat out with points, consider the st Regis

Otherwise citizen m brand in Marriott fam has fun vibe

Naz! Wonderful! Great news and excited to see you again

bj1111, thanks for the recommendations! Stayed in a dutch Citizen M.

I've stayed at the Hotel Belleclaire on the Upper West Side many times. And recommend it.

I haven't booked anything yet! been VERY busy at the Cox Castle. Hopefully get it done this week

Angie, the Belleclaire looks charming and what a good deal!

BJ1111, I’ve never stayed at the St Regis, but the Ritz Carlton a few blocks away from there, right on the park, is one of our favorite “use up the points” places. Also, the New York Edition next to Madison Square Park.

CitizenM in the Bowery looks fun!

Janet, yes! We like the Upper West Side. Charming and quiet. LOVE the Belleclaire. Citizen M, although very modern, can be very basic - warning you

We'll be booking our NYC flights and accommodation this week! Did lots of thinking and planning yesterday figuring out all the moving parts.
I booked Sam and Jo into daycare and boarding this morning!! Final NYC plans are well on their way

I have been a bit anti ritz since they started monetizing every.little.thing.

The courtyard time square which is nowhere as near to time square as its name would suggest is super. Quiet with a Paris baguette only a block away—if you like Korean interpretations of French pastries.

The egg tarts are tdf. Not as good as @Angie will have experience in HK, tho it scratches the occasional itch h for me

ETA: FINAL DATES: (I've booked my fights and accommodation

There will be TWO gatherings in Manhattan:

Friday Sept 18: For anyone who is already in NYC and wants to shop and hang out with me!

Sat Sept 19: The OFFICIAL BIG gathering.

Details of where to meet, TBC. We will need a sense of numbers before we can book restaurants.

BOOK YOUR TRIPS!

Angie, I'm exploring my options! is there a major shopping area you had in mind so that I can narrow my hotel search?

bj1111, there are two Courtyards: one on 37th and the other on 40th. Which one were you recommending?

Also if I go, is there anyone interested in attending a theater production with me?

Changing my comment to say likely not. It would be about 10 hrs of travel time total, and definitely wouldn't spend the night. I'd love to meet with you all, but I need to be in places where I can see the horizon

The hotel I was thinking of was the Fairfield Manhattan/Central Park. There is a courtyard/Manhattan central on broadway and 54th.

Those are Marriott hotels nearest to the uws which Angie likes as a neighborhood.

It all depends on which part of the city you would like to stay.

SO DISAPPOINTED I AM MISSING THIS

GAH!

I made my reservations I am staying midtown bc I have enough points for a free room !

Sorry to miss you Suntger and bj1111 Next time! Thanks for the reccommendations, bj1111!!

AJ, I suspect we will be shopping ALL over. People will be staying all over too. So stay where you like

We are staying at Hotel Belleclaire on the UPPER West Side. We've stayed there many times before for NYFW. It's nice and quiet!

Momo, that's AWESOME! Excited to meet you

Dang it all
I will be visiting family in Australia. Hi & hugs to everyone
