Chicagoland here - I'm loving it. Nice change of pace, honestly. It's so much easier without snow... less mess, less work shoveling, less change of shoes, lighter weight coat. Love it.

It's definitely odd. I am torn...I still shudder when I remember last winter. This is definitely easier in terms of getting out and about. Fashion-wise, I haven't really had to break out the puffers very often, nor the gloves. Overall, I will take the mild weather for a change. I doubt it will last!

I think it sucks. Christmas is about snow, and snowmen, and sledding, and digging tunnels in the pile of snow in the middle of the court my mother lives on.

My DH had to stay at home to work, and is coming tomorrow or the next day to my mothers (where we now are). I just emailed him to ask him to bring a raincoat and rubber boots. My brain just couldn't compute that it would be POURING with rain in New Brunswick at Christmas time, and I brought all the wrong things.

But I know the snow and cold will come... I'm quite happy with the opportunity to be able to wear trousers (ie not skinnies) with booties for as long as possible, I just want it to be white for Christmas!

Agreeing with Elizabeth P that it sucks. I am a snow bunny and love winter. Local weather forecasters are predicting 70ºF for Christmas Eve. At this rate, I will be cooking and entertaining in a tank top.

Mid 50's F predicted here on Christmas day. That's at least 20 degrees warmer than average. If I weren't very concerned for the welfare of flora and fauna, I'd be loving our endless fall. I recently saw a heartbreaking picture of an emaciated polar bear adrift on a tiny bit of ice...

I've noticed that once winter arrives, it seems like forever until true spring conditions return. I haven't needed my heaviest, warmest clothes much yet this year, but I'll probably still be wearing them in May.

Hmm, we have the pretty typical highs near 70 lows in the 50s and I am quite pleased with that - and still wearing sweaters and coats most days!

I am also disappointed and feeling a bit lost...it is so weird. I see people around me trying really hard to look cozy and wear their winter gear and it just isn't working. I long to wear a cozy sweater, eat chili or French onion soup and have the fire going. : (

The weirdest part for me is to wear the same clothes for so long. I am still wearing early Fall clothes. I never realized how much I enjoyed "moving" along and rotating clothes as the seasons went on.

so far I've been enjoying it, though it's a bit strange to be wearing a light trench coat in December. I haven't brought out my puffer, or taken out any of my heavy sweaters.

I'm not a winter lover by any means, but here in Minnesota the grass is still green! That's just wrong. I am so hoping for some snow by Christmas. It's so overcast and blech without the snow to make everything pretty. And I'm getting tired of the icy pavement...it rains a bit and then freezes, or it snows and then melts and freezes, etc. Let's just get below freezing and have snow and be done with it!

It is very strange for us. It is warmer than normal for this time of year and raining. Very gloomy. I have noticed fewer Christmas decorations on the houses. I find dressing easier in some ways. I don't need to layer up to step outside. Sophie doesn't need her boots yet. She wear boots to protect her paws from the ice balls developing between her toes. Also, sometimes there is salt used on the roads and that hurts her feet. But it is a nightmare to dry her coat when it has been raining.

One bummer: it's too warm to start a nice, cozy fire in the fireplace. It feels wrong to not have that going on for Christmas. Instead we'll be hovering on the edge of needing to run the AC!

I can easily do without snow. It's too messy.

Agreeing with everyone that said it sucks. It sucks. I am going to see Star Wars wearing a short sleeve tee shirt. This is just wrong.

Meanwhile, here in the West, we went to the airport last night to pick up some family members. I saw several people who looked like Nanook of the North, in their parkas and Sorels. The ski resorts have had as much as 2 feet of snow in the last couple days. Another storm is expected tomorrow. We may get up to 6 inches at our house. The tv news said Lake Tahoe received over 4 billion gallons of water. Yeah!

Here's our forecast. Brrr..

Lots of snow on the mountains this side. Like I said - I'm inviting you all to the glorious West Coast!

(I also don't like snow for more than one day - and I loathe temperatures below freezing).

It is supposed to be 83 degrees here in south Texas on Christmas day. I guess that means short sleeves to mow the lawn! Hopefully for the last time this year!

The weather has been absolutely crazy warm here in DC area. It is the 60s today and expected to go up to to 70s tomorrow. While I generally run cold and prefer warmer weather, this has been a bit too much bi wish we could have some snow for the holidays.

I sure don't mind the lack of snow...(new englander here) but the temps are a little bit higher than I like. I haven't been able to wear a cashmere turtleneck yet this year. But I won't complain, because last year the weather was mild until the end of January and then we were slammed for weeks. Cold, snow.

I've had enough snow in years past, that a couple of green Christmas's are okay with me. Wore slip on sneaks without socks, and a leather jacket today. Christmas Eve forecast is for 17degC!

It's been wet and dreary all day long here, with temps in the high '60s. Much different than the snow and single-digit temps we usually get.

People here are still mowing their grass, which is green and growing. 200 miles north in Omaha they had 6-10 inches of snow today. South in Arkansas they have had tornados. I am not missing the cold. It may be a long cold spell from New Years on.

I'm in WI and it is ridiculously warm here. I bought a full-length puffer in anticipation of the snow and cold temps this year, and haven't had to wear it once. Indeed, a short jacket I bought has been too warm. But I DO wish we had snow, at least. It doesn't feel like December without it, and because I work in a school, I notice that the kids really miss it. It has been wet instead, meaning they have to play on the blacktop instead of the grass, and there are no snow hills to climb and slide down, no snowmen to build, etc. I don't miss the sub-zero temperatures, but a little snow would be nice.

It's melting fast with last night's rain and today's 9'C temps, but this was the view from my door yesterday morning.

It is warm here. Warmer than usual. It is suppose to get cold on Sunday. Hopefully it will!

It's been a bit confusing actually, especially with footwear. I packed away shoes I wear without socks, but need to find them again. On the bright side I'm getting tons of wear from my lightweight Burberry red quilted jacket that I got at the Rack 2 years ago! Usually it gets too cold too soon to really get enough wear. It's been my Christmas spirit!
We grilled our Christmas Eve lobsters and are grilling our tiny turkey beer can style today for Christmas dinner which is nice (and necessary as it's too hot to bake all day!)
