Someone posted earlier on here, about pastels with earth tones. It looks so fresh!! I feel so inspired (to SYC) going into spring now. These are some of the combinations I will try the upcoming week. Hopefully will follow up with WIWs. I have seen this look coming through in editorials, but I didn't really SEE it, until someone on here put it into words. Thanks YLF! (Sorry, couldn't find the original post).
Ah! Thanks for the tip on light pink and rust! Sometimes I reject clothing combinations theoretically, until seeing them with my own eyes and realizing, YES, this does work! This sounds like one of those:-D *runs to try on*.
Yes! Fabulous combination. I love seeing earth tones combined with slightly more saturated pastels and mid tones this year. Looking forward to seeing the WIW.
This is a color combination that I have really fallen in love with. Chambray blue looks absolutely smashing with cinnamon, caramel and almond shades. I agree with CarolS's comment about earth tones in combination with more saturated pastels. Synne, I can't wait to see what fabulous WIW looks you will come up with using this combination.
This is my latest obsession . Took me far too long to figure out that cool shades aren't my best and that mixing my favourite pale blues and greys with warm/earth tones breathes new life into my wardrobe. Pink is good with earth tones too .
Nice color combo! When I had light denim jeans I'd always pair with cognac too.
I general I like any mid tone colors (blush, turquoise, coral, mid tone greens, mustard, etc) best with mid tone neutrals- instead of black.
