The colors mentioned are very pretty on the right person. Have a blast, Jean and Khris. This is your season. I think I actually could probably wear and look good in some of these colors, but I just don't like them for my style.
It's the 33 faces of beige that I don't understand. Nasty looking color. I cannot be convinced otherwise.
Angie's comment on camel was VERY evident in a particularly dramatic episode of Project Runway (yes, I have been watching a lot lately). I am not sure why designers choose to make colors that are inherently difficult to work with trendy.
Tanya, are you kidding me? Purple is HUGE right now. It's everywhere. Usually when I find something I like, it is available in one of the colors Angie mentioned, and the odd shade of purple. I guess that's the fashion industry's way of throwing us a colorful bone.
I'm going to make piece with a black, white, and gray wardrobe until this passes. I have tried the odd "pop of color" but it always looks a bit out of place and desperate. Thank goodness Thunalata found that coral trench for me. I'm wearing the heck out of it this fall.
