Today, I had lunch with a college friend. We haven't met up in quite a while, so we had to go to our old favorite spot and then hit the local boutiques. I have had the goal of replacing some of my cheaper earrings with higher quality, artisan crafted pieces, and I totally scored today! I found three sets of earrings to come home with me.
#1) are a little hand made set of cut metal earrings that I have been looking at since the beginning of summer. I finally decided to buy before they sold out
#2) are from the same boutique (which carries lots of unusual artisan pieces made in Mexico, although neither of these are). These are real, ethically harvested butterfly wings. I have been looking at similar styles on etsy, but Iam glad to be able to support this local small business.
#3) from another one of my favorite boutiques- hammered silver hoops. They also had gold and rose gold...I may add those over time...
I don't get to this area very often, so it was fun to see all of the new offerings.
I'm planning on wearing all three of these this week!
