It’s time to look for Spring options, and I’m FINALLY appreciating Angie’s phrase “earned a place in my wardrobe”.
As a mostly online shopper, it’s feels wasteful to receive a giant box from Shopbop, 5 boxes from Nordstrom, and 2 from Boden, then return everything except 2 pieces. But that’s just what I did this weekend.
As I was boxing, I reminded myself how great it is to be in a position to be picky, and be thinking about whether a new purchase advances my wardrobe, or replaces something that is worn out or not working. I’ll wear these new jeans happily, knowing they were chosen, not picked out of need.
