DVF shirt dress question

I'm wondering if a pretty pear could wear something like these two. I've just reread the rules for pretty pears, and I'm still unsure.

I've been drooling over this color combo for quite some time. I'm not ready to let it go yet (the price has been a good deterrent, though ) Should I even bother trying these? I would like to see them with white skinnies, or alone, depending on length. My brain is pretty fried today, and I suspect I'm being unreasonable.

I think there's a blouse version of this color scheme and it's slowly appearing on sales. Come to think of it, I will be able to wear the blouse more often than a silk dress. Hmm...

I have a hunch these won’t work. Shoulder line is sloppy. Pretty pears need a STRONG shoulder line. I could be wrong though. If you’re in stores, have a bash.

Angie, I suspected they may not be structured enough. I don't live anywhere close to a DVF store, and Nordies doesn't seem to have these. Oh well, I think I'll keep an eye out for the blouse.
