Hi all!

You helped me make the decision to return the Aquatalia riding boots that I purchased at NAS. I realized that I was not sad to see them go, and though they would be practical, they didn't make me feel all that great. If I need a pair of waterproof riding boots, there will be a pair available later likely at a less expensive price point.

So I took my "splurge" money and spent it on these, Duoboots Belford in Bordeaux leather. The color is closer to a reddish brown than a cool burgundy, but actually I think it bookends my hair quite nicely. For my wardrobe, this color is versatile as it can mix with black, navy, or brown.

They are high, for sure, but well balanced, and I'm used to wearing similar heights 2-3 days per week. I would mainly wear these to work but I did try them on with jeans tucked in and can imagine creating a "date night" outfit from that base too.

They make me feel like a *boss* which has been one of my criteria for deciding what to buy for work clothes.

I really hope you don't tell me to return them!
