For about 8.5 years, I’ve split my time between my place and my BF’s. Until recently, I kept the bulk of my “good” wardrobe at his place.
A few weeks ago, the BF started a job where he’s working remotely from his place, 10-12 hours a day. It was stressing both of us out, so I moved just about my entire wardrobe back to my place, because now I’m there most weekdays.
I spend weekends at his place. I’ve created a small capsule wardrobe, consisting mostly of tried-and-true favorites, and I bring along “extras” to his place now.
Here is what I keep at his place:
(Not pictured):
Toiletries, perfume, and a very basic set of makeup and brushes
Necessaries: 2 brassieres in black and white, 5-6 pairs of knickers, 4 pairs of socks, nude and black hosiery
One yoga outfit
Photos:
#1 Toppers & Outerwear: full-length camel hair coat, black leather jacket, black knit jacket.
#2 Skirts & Tops : black draped stretch skirt, turquoise-green pencil skirt, Pink basic tee, black short sleeve bodysuit, black longsleeve v-neck top, black mock neck top
#3 Pants: blue & black jeans, black ponte pants, black Athleisure joggers
#4-6 Shoes and bags: Black leather heels, nude patent leather heels, flat black boots (not pictured) and navy ballet flats, a floral crossbody bag, and a lacquered red cigar box bag.
#7-8 Accessories: white faux fur scarf & hat, black leather gloves (not pictured), a dark teal chiffon scarf, black leather cinch belt, cream brocade belt with pink, teal and gold, green barrette
Jewelry: earrings and necklace that match the teal scarf, a couple of pearl necklaces + pearl studs, some bracelets that match my palette, and a chunky gold bangle.
This looks like a lot, but it takes up two small drawers and about two feet of rail space in his closet. And because I know what’s there, it’s easy to bring along other mix-and-match stuff.
