Dressy shoes: at a loss

As I posted recently, I'm trying to put together a wedding outfit that feels like me. #1 shows the direction I'm heading (thanks to advice from Angie and many of you). I've bought and returned 4 pairs of pants so far and have 4-5 more on order, but am hopeful I'll find something. But what about shoes? I'm not "pumps" gal, and am trying to find a low heel that might look appropriate and still feel like me. #2 and 3 show some that I've come up with. I have to admit the nude pumps feel the least like me, but I'm sure would "work" in a pinch. What do you think? Other ideas?

Can it be a sandal? Or will the weather still be too cool? Because you have some possible sandals, right?

Don't you have a Cole Haan Air Tali shoe, too?

I like the mint Ivanka Trumps if the colour works. But nude would also be useful over time!

LOL, Suz. If you'd asked me LAST year I would have yes to sandals, but it's in Boston in 3 weeks. Looking out my window, I'm pretty certain that sandals won't be an option.

I do have Cole Haan air tali sandals that would work, but I think it will just be too cold.

Ah. Got it. Yeah, you are right. It is better to have a pair of shoes. What about a slipper flat? Not that I have seen one, in my neck of the woods. But that's not surprising. You can't even get an oxford in this town.

There are lots on the web, so I can look for them there. I'm just wondering if they are too casual for a wedding and I should at least have the semblance of a heel.

I like the metallic IM Grisel (2nd on the third page). I find a silver or pewter as versatile as a nude shoe most of the time. If you wear golds more, make it gold or bronze.

Is the outfit dark, Sarah? Or in the colours you have shown the items in here - white jacket, coral top, navy pants?

I vote the silver Issac Mizrahi weave pumps with nude hose.

Okay! Then I vote the silver pumps. I have had them on my feet and they are quite comfy. Their basket weave texture also makes them more playful and "Sarah" to my eye. You are not a severe pumps wearing gal

Those and the mint green ones are actually my faves of the bunch, and you're exactly right - the basket weave makes them more "earthy" (or at least "down to earth") (right for me). I'm so relieved to hear that you've had them on your fussy feet and they passed. My feet are equally fussy. I'll order them!

The Vince Camuto Ryssa doesn't look dressy enough to me.

The Munro is a little conservative for your style. As is the Geox.

I like the Isaac Mizrahi as well! In silver. That way you don't have to go the nude route. Although I do love the Cole Haan Air pumps.

Thanks, Denise. It's funny - I ordered the Munro's and put them on and felt like a nurse or something - definitely too conservative. But I'm so bad at choosing shoes on the dressy side that still match my style that I couldn't figure that out from the pictures. Yikes - it's a steep learning curve.

Earthy is right, Sarah :). They are *quite comfy* as far as pointy toe pumps go. The leather is soft. Certainly a great option for dressy occasions. Dance all night!

Hooray! They're ordered : ) Now I just have to find the outfit to go with them LOL. I don't think showing up nude to the wedding would be appropriate.
