In my post yesterday about weekend style, people suggested getting blouses that could go with my jeans but stay a little more true to my style. I ordered a 40s-style Trashy Diva blouse, but then I stumbled across an eBay seller with a huge lot of 1950s cotton blouses in my size. I could totally see wearing these in the warm weather with my walk shorts, sort of rockabilly-style, or with jeans, or with a skirt and cardigan now. What do you guys think....would something like this look really dorky or could I pull it off? There are blouses just like this going for twice the price on retro-reproduction sites like Heartbreaker Fashion and Tara Starlet.
