Dressing up a pair of moto leggings wedding appropriate??

I’m going to a very casual BBQ country wedding at the end of September. I have a great pair of cole Hans and black leather moto leggings and was hoping to dress them up. Could this work for this kind of wedding?? Is it acceptable to wear an outfit like this s to even the most casual outdoor wedding???

The last BBQ country wedding I went to, the bride wore a denim midi dress. Black leather leggings would not have been out of place at all. In your place I might go with a great top & great jewelry.

This is what I was thinking. Weddings are so hard. I don’t wanna buy another new outfit. And this wedding is being promoted as a big party, it’s at an outdoor pavilion, open bar, 2nd wedding for both bride and groom and I’ve got a denim tunic and great gold and turquoise layering necklaces and I’ll have a little lace showing since It is a plunging vneck tunic, black cole han platforms. I think I can get away with it.

It is hard. For the wedding you are describing I think party attire is perfect. And moto leggings fit the bill here. If you are unsure I would check with the bride and ask her to be honest.

Or even ask what she imagines guests will wear - eg similar to a party or 40th etc...

I have been to a few second weddings and the dress has ranged from similar to a first wedding through to party clothes.

I think it sounds a cool outfit for that sort of wedding with outdoor bar and pavilion type party. You will look great! Hopefully you will be an active member by then and able to show us pics?

I'd also factor in the event setting and what you know of the bride and groom's social circle. Some outdoor BBQ weddings would be very Expensive Casual, and others merely casual.
