I was already planning to wear this repeat from my Holiday Capsule, full of pearls in memory of Jen's daughter. Last night I received a call that one of our music students, a vibrant, burly football player who loved to sing show tunes, had died, apparently in his sleep. The choir, of which he was a part, goes on tour tomorrow.
He was a person of strong faith, with an eternal purpose and a love for Jesus. Please offer yours prayers for his family and the university community. It's a tough day to focus on normal routines.
