I usually avoid dresses preferring something with a defined waist and more structure on the bottom, but this seemed so breezy (on the sylph-like model). I think it looks slightly better in real life, but this picture captures the general voluminous feeling. There is a belt, but it pulls the hem up and I don't like the slit that high so I'd likely wear it loose.
What do you think of it over pants?
The price was good enough and I have faith in my sewing skills to contemplate shortening it into a tunic length. It has nice pockets, maybe a tunic length over shorts would be nice at the pool.
Or I could just send it back.
