Dress Parade (pic heavy)

I decided I need to tackle my dresses today. To be honest, I have not worn any dresses this year at all but feel that I want to venture back into dress territory. I am asking for your help with the ones I could not decide on. Actually, all that is left. Two, not shown, have already gone into the 'give' bag. Please take a look and tell me if I should keep or not. Oh, and I am not attached to any of them.

#1 & 2 - brown sleeveless
#3 - black and white sleeveless. (same as #1 only different color)
#4 &5 - Black, red, white shortsleeve
#6 & 7 - red and white sleeveless
#8, 9, 10, 11 - confetti print

I don't like the red & white one from the side - the band seems to be in the wrong place or there is too much fullness. Other than that I think they all look good on your body. How do you feel in them?

I was not sure about the red and white one. I really do not 'love' any of them. Maybe that is why I have not worn them. I am just not sure. I think I look much better in a skirt and blouse.

I wonder why you prefer a skirt and blouse for yourself? Do you have a sense of what it is?

I really like 1-4 and 9-11 on you. But you must like them yourself or why hold onto them? No matter how good they look, they must be right for your weather, your lifestyle, and the image you want to project.

Suz, I think it is because there is more structure, And I enjoy the flexibility of mixing the tops and bottoms. I have never really thought about it before. Maybe I may not a dress person. Hmmm...

#1 is a standout piece. Yes it's very basic but the colour seems to flatter you as well as the cut.

#3 Again - the cut is very flattering on you though I think the brown is a much more flattering colour. Still, you make it work

#4 I really like it Again, a flattering silhouette on you.

Not a fan of the rest because they do not highlight your lovely figure very well. The first 3 dresses/separates tend to give you a fluid line. The other 2 - not so much - especially the last dress which almost conceals your figure!

The first two are my favorites -- a very flattering silhouette on you, and quite versatile and basic. The red and white would look cute under a jacket. I love the "grab and go" ease of a dress. What makes you not reach for them?

#1 must be a keeper. Stunning dress, fits you beautifully and would be very versatile, a bit of a "go to" dress.

#3 is very flattering on you. Perfect length. I am a little bored with dresses with that empire line but it is very lovely.

#4 gives the illusion of a skirt and top. Given that's your preference, have you considered a slim belt with this. I like this very much.

I love #8 but am wondering if it might be a bit big for you?

#6 is so different to your other dresses and while it might be good on a hot day, if you have not worn it I say it could go.

KEEP -- #1 & 2 - brown sleeveless
This fits you quite well, and it is an LBD but brown, not black. There's so much you could do with this.

KEEP -#3 - black and white sleeveless. (same as #1 only different color)
You duplicated in a print because you knew the fit was so flattering. This print is awesome and you could have so much fun with it, adding pops of color.

Toss - #4 &5 - Black, red, white shortsleeve
Do not like the sleeves on you. The skirt, to my eye, looks dated.

KEEP -- #6 & 7 - red and white sleeveless
I love this on you. Such a flirty sundress. I could see wearing this to a summer wedding. Or with sandals to run around town on a hot day, to have brunch outside, with big glamorous sunglasses. Even if you feel it's not your style, personally I would hold on to it. Because I am not really a flirty sundress type but there's always that handful of super hot sunny days when I wish I had the perfect sundress... so I have one or two in my closet and though I may not wear them as often as the rest, they have their place and they do get worn.

Tailor? -- #8, 9, 10, 11 - confetti print
This has potential, but I'm not sure about the fit. It looks like it might be too large on you? Or that is the style, and it's just not the best for you. It might be worth taking it to the tailor. Actually, taking another look... I change my vote to "you could do better."

I really like the brown sleevelss dress and the black and white one on you. They are both very flattering and should be easy to dress up or down. Very versatile.

The red and black one has a flattering cut, but not sure about the Transition between skirt and top on the dress. Maybe with a belt.

The red and white one is less flattering than the first three, but still very nice. I think it would be a bit trickier to style.

I am not a fan of the confetti one. The cut does not do much for you.
