Inspired by Angie’s red dress, I thought I’d wear one of my own! This is also a Free People dress, funnily enough. I love empire waists but they are hard to come by these days, so when I saw this dress, I gave it a try. It's cut so it has a similar silhouette, and it also has elements of a slip dress. The fabric is an unusual color - I'd call it a muted tomato red. The pattern is magenta colored.

I wear this dress with a long duster (also Free People) that has sparkly tomato red flecks. It has a very deep neckline that needs a cami (who designs these things anyway?), so I wore white shoes and bag to connect the white cami. The dress has long slits up the sides so it’s flow-y and fun to walk in.

Today’s hair is flat ironed. No more curls!
