Such lovely frocks we all have
Shannon, black suits you amazingly well. I almost cannot fathom it! Also, that lovely scarf needs to see more action (action action...).
Ingunn, FUN gloves! The gloves, stripes, and tights are the perfect way to add some flair to your classic black wrap.
Diana, two dresses are better than one, right? Love this layering, very clever and a very nice subtle effect.
Diane, I really like the neckline of your dress and much prefer the non-layered version so we can see the neck shine. The wide belt also really gives some added punch.
Debbie, it definitely works! The longer jacket gives a fun proportion that is a little less traditional than a very cropped jacket would give.
Amiable, I like the dress over the red skinnies! Perhaps add a long metal necklace or a funky belt?
Rachylou, I think the gray tights work pretty well actually, especially with the cardigan. You look so dressy! Hmmm what about argyle tights?
Karie, great dress-over-pants look, your dress has a really striking colorway.
JJ, what a fab almost-black outfit! The little polka dots really make this for me. That and the mix of ink and black, love it.
Here is my entry for the challenge today! I do not have any non-sweater winter dresses, really, so I struggled mightily to come up with even three outfits for this challenge >< Then I remembered that my sheath is fully lined which makes it actually work quite well in fall/winter as long as there are other layers involved. It has not yet been worn this season, so thanks for the nudge. This challenge did make me realize that I don't like to layer things _under_ my sheath, but toppers are a-ok; it is also a bit of a challenge for me to rocknroll this dress up for casual wear so it feels like me! Today I added lots of leather, which did the trick although I don't usually wear so much brown
