I meant “cutesie-pie,” or too girlie, flouncy, saccharine for my tastes.
I’m using an iPad (I’m on holiday down south, at the moment) and I’ve checked out the photo editing options and hope these changes (attached) make the photos easier to see and critique.
The dress is comfy enough, I believe, for me to enjoy wearing it.
I find most Boden dresses better cut for the short-waisted than for the long-torsoed, but I think in the navy it’s not so noticeable and the overall cut of the dress doesn’t make it look like a maternity gown (a real danger for those of us with Apple tendencies wearing dresses with too-high waists)
