Dress - opinions please?

Did a bit of shopping yesterday and found exactly the bottoms I needed!

While doing so I came upon this dress. I’ve been looking for a dress in this style and this one was at a good price point. But the following day I’m not so sure this style suits me? Or maybe I just need to try something different. That being said, I wear dresses all the time so as a daily dress, maybe it works? I would love your opinions. Thanks!

I think this dress looks nice on you, good fit, pretty pattern and colours, comfortable length too. I’d say it’s a great everyday dress.
However, something is making you question it, is it too different from your usual style? If so, maybe you just need a bit of time to get used to wearing it around, well that’s sometimes the case for me anyways.

I think this dress looks lovely and vote keep. I have found as Dee mentioned above, when I first try something different for my style, it takes time for my eye to adjust.

Love it & it appears to fit you perfectly. On my phone, it looks like cotton, & light & airy, easy to move & sit in. When a comfortable fit, that cut is my ideal dress.

Does the waist fall at the right spot? Sometimes I realize a dress feels off because the waist is too high.

Thanks! The palette was very different from my usual and the waist was quite high. I will think about it some more but I appreciate the votes!!!

The waist thing can be a dealbreaker if it bugs you. If it doesn’t, great. I just resolved not to do another off waist because over time it will start bugging me. But it’s personal, for example what other people see as tragic hemming doesn’t bother me and I roll with it.

It *looks* good but if it feels off, that inner voice is worth listening to. If you think it's because it's outside your comfort zone and that's a style direction you are interested in, then it might be worth powering through ... But if it just feels off, then I would suggest considering waiting for something that makes your heart happier

Nodding with Angie --- fit looks great. But I'm wondering if it is the pattern or colours that might be giving you qualms. Think it through...and trust your gut!
