I had no idea that Frye boots were so expensive though. Sigh.

I bet you can find something similar for less, as the fall merchandise rolls in.

Aren't they lovely?

I love the look of Frye boots too, and the only thing that keeps me from being disappointed that I cannot afford them is that they all seem to be pull-on style, which sounds very difficult for a tall boots. I haven't tried any on, so I could be very wrong!

Love Frye Boots! Those are gorgeous. I got some Fryes last season at Nordstroms and then noticed them on sale when Shoes.com had 20% off everything. I called customer service and they adjusted the price and sent me a check for $60.

One thing about Fryes is they will last forever and are timeless in style so the Cost Per Wear is actually really low-but still tough to stomach the pricetag up front!

They have little hooks inside them theat help you pull them up. I have had no problems at all with it.

Those Frye boots are so gorgeous! I'm also a big fan of Frye boots, although I only have one pair at the moment. Must remedy that situation soon!

I wonder why they are so expensive, a sale would help but it would have to be pretty drastic. I love the color, has anyone seen more reasonable cognac tall boots, not slouchy.
I like slouchy but want something that is not as trendy.

I have some pull-on Fryes (Paige Buckle style) in the same color as the ones Yublocka posted at Revolve. I find them extremely difficult to pull on and off, so much so that I'm considering selling them (for a pretty big loss, unfortunately).

Brianna -- sorry the Paige Buckles didn't work for you. I've heard some of the styles are harder than other to get on and off, so some people size up 1/2 size or eventually break them in.

If you order from Revolve, you can get an extra 15% off using the code tulip. I just got a new pair of Fryes, and still want more!

I bought these Fiorentini+Baker boots last year in Caramel (aka cognac) and love them to death! Every time I wear them, people stop to ask me about them. They're expensive, but the quality is pretty amazing (I've found that to be true of everything I've gotten from Ped Shoes, which I seriously can't say enough good things about):

I just noticed those boots I mention above are now on sale. Wow--didn't think Ped ever put F+B on sale. Oh well, still glad I had mine last year (wah wah wah).

Beautiful boots, Jean. And I also LOOOOVE the F+B boots JaneF posted. Wow, they gorgeous! I also quite like the red "Eternity" style on that page. Jane, since you own a pair, can you tell me how big they run? The descriptions say that the styles run big and recommend sizing down. So if I usually wear a 40, would I really want to size down to a 39? It sounds drastic, but I'm seriously tempted to try these boots out.
