One of the gaps that Angie helped me identify during my closet purge was that of drapey tees. Of the many purchases this S/S, I still hadn't managed to make a dent in this hole (wait, well you know). Last Wednesday I popped into Forever 21, in the spirit of "No Retail Stone Left Unturned". I normally loathe this store because I don't have the patience to find things that are grouped randomly and never together with all sizes. It's almost like thrifting, so can be rewarding but a lot of work. Well, I have to say that I'm glad I took the plunge. In less than an hour I had an armload of things to try on and spent less than $80 dollars on 5 tops! I couldn't find the 5th online, but it's plain white with a welt and very fluid. BTW, I was wearing my new striped VC midi tube skirt, a White House Black Market silk tank in periwinkle and an H&M sweater jacket with faux leather shoulder pads and details (#1). Sandals are my old trusty/ugly until this year Cole Haans. My favorite is the "watercolor" tank which is so happy! I wore it to work on Thursday and again Saturday (#2 & 3)(workhorse in the making!).
