Dr. Martens Sara black & white heeled oxfords - US size 8 - GONE

And yes, these lovely oxfords are too high as well, so I'm being strict with myself and out they go.

Size: Euro 39 / UK 6 / US 8
They've only been worn a couple of times and are in excellent condition.

Shift was brutal. I have 4 in a row (which is against our union regulations), but as a junior, you can't really complain about it.

According to the website of the Belgian post office, shipping to the US would cost 26 euro, that's about $35.
If you want to compare: the shoes originally cost $120.

dstalksalot: They are a little over 3", but have a small platform built in, and they are quite comfortable (e.g. the balls of my feet didn't hurt while wearing them, but my back just can't handle this heel height anymore). As Marley mentioned, she is going to try Vicki's pair on Tuesday. If they don't work for her, I'll give you a shout, how does that sound?

Hey Inge! Well, I talked to Vicki - but I didn't get to try hers on, because she sold them a couple of months ago on ebay (because they hurt her feet.) After talking to her about the sizing and learning from her that they run big (and she had to size down to a 7 to get them to fit - and she and I wear the same size) I realized that your 8's will be too big for me. So thank you very much for your generous offer - and maybe dstalksalot will score!

Inge, I'm very tempted! I have been eyeing these for a while. By my calculations a US 8 is an Aus 6.5. Hmmm. I realise you been back and forth to the post office so I have your package mmeasurements and weight...may I check the postage (i assume they can work it out this end??) and get back to you please...that's if they are still available;). xxxDeborah

dstalksalot: no worries, they might indeed be a little too big for you then.

Deborah: on the box it says: UK6 / US8 / EU39. But it's a roomy fit, fyi: my feet are 24.4 cm long and I have plenty of room in these shoes.

I just checked the Belgian Post's website and shipping the shoes to Australia will cost 43 euro = about 55 AUD. I'm afraid we don't have the most affordable rates in the world-((

If these are not right for Deborah I would be interested. The heel looks sturdy enough to cope with the Scottish hills and I'm on a bit of a monotone kick right now

I can only imagine how hard it is to let go of some of your shoes. Are the new lower block heels catching your eye?

The heels are quite sturdy indeed, and apart from them just being too high for me, they really are quite comfy too. Monotone is always fab in my book:-)

And you bet, I really had to talk some sense into myself last month, but it just doesn't make sense to hang onto shoes that makes my back unhappy each time I wear them. I walk a lot in the city and need to be practical. So out they go...

How did you guess!-) LOVE the lower block heels, and I'm hoping to get a pair (or two) soon.

OK, I just had a look for you on the website of the Belgian Post. Shipping to the UK would cost 17.20 euro. Let me know if that works for you, and I'll send them off this week (post offices are closed tomorrow, Easter Monday).

I'm having a wonderful weekend, the girls have eaten half of their body weight in chocolate.

I think the postage works out to be about £15.00 which is very reasonable, I could paypal you tomorrow if that is suitable but there is no rush to get to the post office Inge, I would hate to inconvenience you.

Even though I'm just here on the sidelines, I'm enjoying the conversation and just loved reading how these Docs could either be in the Scottish highlands or somewhere in Australia, but it seems like they've landed a home now. I just want to add that they truly are very comfortable walkers, as Inge says, even for their height. In fact, I walked a trade show, when I first got them and had no problem whatsoever. Jules, you will look spectacular in them and they'll still have a little Inge magic, too, I'm sure.
