Dr. Martens Marcie owners -- how to style?

After seeing the rave reviews of the Marcies here, I decided to pull the trigger on a brown pair that was on sale through MyHabit. Love the shoes -- comfortable and well made, and I can walk in them

Do you Marcie owners have tips on styling them? I've noticed them worn primarily with dresses or skirts.

I wear mine with... oh, everything! IMO they work great with everything from skinnies to bootcuts to bare legs.

Love mine in particular with pencil skirts and midi dresses. I also love them under my bootcut jeans.

So, did you pul the trigger, cciele? I noticed these shoes on Shannon's post the other day, with her BF jeans and I have to say I love them. What about stability as the height is an inch or so past my comfort level?
