I'm not familiar with the overall style, it it it looks kind of like a French braid across the top of her head. I'm sorry I can't help more...

It's also sometimes been referred to in the media as a "milkmaid braid" I think. Hope that helps!

I'm pretty sure the braid is fake. The braid is on a headband. If you did a braid with your own hair it wouldn't lay as flat around the ears. You can find hair pieces like that to match any hair color and look natural. Good luck.

Crown braid, plaits, Heidi braids (my personal fave). My stylist did a wraparound crown braid for me this weekend. I soo wish I could do it on myself. I have a lot of layers (which means I can't do one long braid and wrap it around), so she did a French braid.
