Right. So I want something with a Gucci-like racing stripe. Saw a cute top at F21; the only size on the rack tho was 'doll size.' So I'm like, 'I'll get it online.' I go so far as to put it in the shopping cart. But with my phone bugging and Lilypuppo's surgery, I never get to pulling the trigger... And now it's gone from the site like it never existed :p

*Sigh*

And no. While *Gucci Gucci Gucci* - I don't want anything actually Gucci with the Gucci stripe. I mean, no, I'm not wearing those white athletic socks. Just no.

Also missed a pair of Mary Jane shoes...but since I maybe wasn't wearing my glasses, they may have never been Mary Janes...so maybe that's why they're 'gone.'

I saw a pair of shoes with the stripe.

They were witch heels. I absolutely loved them.

So sorry, but I need to ask this question: Why would you want to detract from a brand as strong and unique as Rachylou & Lillipup by slapping Gucci all over it?

(really, it's ok to wear brands. and I'm having a white sock moment)

Hehe, approprio. It's all tied up in my preppy roots, Caribbean heritage, and keen fondness for the 70s shows, The Love Boat and Fantasy Island...A nostalgic remnant of the past...

RL, I'm laughing at your post even though it's making me realize I'm completely out of it. I don't know what any of this means (the Gucci racing stripe, the white socks, even what the "Gucci colors" are). Fortunately, there is Google, and there is also Little Mr. April, who will surely know all of this -- and then laugh at me for not just Googling instead of asking him.
