donna morgan twist front jersey sheath dres?

hi ladies,

thanks so much for your feedback earlier this week. i will be keeping the jones NY leaf print, but returning the nine west abstract.

have any of you tried on/purchased this donna morgan dress from nordstroms? if so, how was the fit? i really love the royal blue color, but they only have sizes 2,4 and 6 in stock online (nothing available in store). i am tempted to just order the 6 and see what happens, IDK...

Hi Cyan,

I have this dress in the black and white print and love it. It's flattering and because of the thicker material and lining, fairly forgiving.

I feel it runs true to size but because the smallest size for the brand is a 2 whereas many other brands have 0 and 00, you have to take that into consideration. I ordered the 2P which fit, and I would wear a 0P in a lot of other brands.

That being said, the 2P fits me, but it's not as fitted as on the model...I could probably size down in theory. I'm not sure if I helped :\ Anyway, I would recommend the dress, I think I will get a lot of wear out of it. It works for a casual office environment with tights and nice shoes and also for going out.

thanks bran888. i have a bad feeling the size 6 will be too small oh well. i'm glad you love wearing your b/w dress i was tempted to buy that one instead, but i have a few b/w dresses already.

crossing my fingers for a re-stock...

hmm is that one size down from what you normally wear? It might be worth trying...i'll cross my fingers that they restock more sizes too!
