The color or the style? I'd treat them as a neutral and they will go with a lot of looks - just sub them in for other shoes!

Both, Una--I've never had oxfords and they kind of confuse me! I doubt I'll actually pull the trigger on these since we're basically into boot season here already. I'm more just mulling them over, for future reference.

These are fab and fun shoes - they'd look great with jeans, skinnies, or black slouchy tapered leg trousers. I could also see them with tights and a pencil skirt.

Ariadne - I just got those in the mail yesterday from Nordstrom. They are really cute and comfortable. I'm wearing them tomorrow with straight leg jeans, a black and white tiny dot blouse, and my GAP tomato red blazer. This is a new shoe type for me as well, so I'll be experimenting with other ways to wear them. P.S - if you haven't purchased them yet, they are less expensive at Nordstrom's, if that is an option for you where you live.
