So I have to ask, because my husband and I are involved in the punk community, what is the band your son was in? I'm trying to think of pioneering screamo bands but all that comes to mind right now is Saetia. But it's one of my favorite genres and I'm totally curious! Also, if he ever played a show in Bloomington/Normal IL around the time you referenced, my husband probably booked it lol
