More just not a blazer. A casual “ swacket” . Boxy, not fitted, not luxe. So, if it fits body type well, could work as a great alternative to a more drapey cardigan, and would add a “ 3rd piece” to very casual outfits ( as shown with jeans).
So also for knitted jackets, it does not appear to have some of the finer construction if one is trying to find more flexible knit blazers for more refined separates outfits.
You asked about the oatmeal- not necessarily but more likely depends on looking closely at the item, fabric, feel, and the way the color reads. Camel tends to read more “ rich” a color in many knits, in wools, cashmere-so I always drool over fall photo shoots of camel wool coats, sweaters- but doesn’t look that great on me. I have a camel hair blazer I love anyway and try to work around the color but have resisted buying more camel.
