I ordered a bunch of knit tops from Talbots during the T-giving sale (thanks for the alert, Claudia!)

I ordered a bunch of sizes, but I had to return almost everything as Talbots does not fit me well. When the shoulders and arms fit, the middle is too blousey. I did keep a sequin top that I love, and I'm probably going to keep another top that drapes well. But everything else was too boxy.

When I was returning items in the store, I noticed that the mannequins had their tops pinned in the back, to create an hourglass, fitted shape! It's sort of deceptive, isn't it? (or maybe all stores do that, perhaps mannequins have Barbie-doll dimensions....hmmmm).

Anyway, I did learn that, in general, Talbots is not a good fit for my shape...
