Does Lululemon ever run sales?

...or should just go ahead and order at full price? I have never purchased anything from them and would appreciate your in put! thank you.

Typically anything on sale is final sale - no returns. There's a section on the website called "We Made Too Much" where the sale items are. As Angie mentioned, they usually do a big sale after Christmas, which means they add a lot to We Made Too Much -- occasionally even stuff that was never on the main site. https://shop.lululemon.com/c/w.....de-too-much

Most of the sale items will be on the website only, but there's usually a rack in the store of final sale items also. I typically only buy stuff on sale if I have been able to try it on -- in the store, or because I have the item in another color and it's worth duplicating.

Thanks for the info, Running with Scissors! What I wanted to buy was not in the Made Too Much section and I wasn’t sure if they did those entire store sales like a lot of other retailers. Maybe I should wait until after Christmas.

I will say Marble, that I'm not the biggest Lulu proponent, but the few pieces I have are really great quality and longevity - so it's one of the few stores where I would say full-price is probably worthwhile. Just another angle on the question

Sure they do. There are always sales racks in their stores, and in the outlet mall stores too. Always final sale though. The Boxing Day sales are nuts though - line ups literally around the mall. Can't imagine putting oneself through that kind of torture

Lisa p, thanks. I checked out a pop-up in the local mall, very small and limited stock, no sale racks.

Just to be clear, I was interested in a specific item and wondering if there was a chance it would go on sale soon...I wasn't just looking for any old clearance rack bargain

IMHO I do not consider their "sale" to really be a sale. Their sales/ or mark downs are rarely if ever over 30% or so. I get incredibly frustrated with them because unlike Athleta (and other brands) - they do not offer significant discounts on their merchandise. My entire family is addicted to their pants and leggings. I personally prefer Athleta. I have found their quality to be consistent and they regularly mark down merchandise. I also prefer the way their items fit my body over Lulu, but that's just me.

If you love the item just buy it at full price

Much as I love a sale, I would honestly rather that more retailers had a fixed price I could count on, then late season sales for items that didn’t sell well, rather than near constant store wide markdowns, funny money/rewards, BOGO half price deals that entice me to buy 2 when I only really want one... shopping would be much less of a game requiring our constant attention. So I respect the model. A lot of good brands with classic repeating items never go on sale (in Canada anyway): Hunters boots, Canada Goose coats, etc.
