Does anyone wear Gucci style skirts?

I really like the Gucci A-line style skirts that hit right around your knee but almost all aren't vegan and i'm not up for spending €1000+ per skirt either haha.
Does anyone know any brands that do similar look (perhaps with some classic embellishments)? I also like tweed but of course they all have to be vegan friendly too.

N, not my style so unable to help. Off this topic but in line with your style quest, are you familiar with The Vivienne Files blog? If I was starting from scratch I would seriously consider her Cores as well as her Columns of Colour theories. Lots of interesting stuff there.

Vegan friendly tweed? Hm.. does that mean acrylic? I have some trousers in synthetic "tweed" and that was the worst fabric I have ever experienced. The threads came loose just by looking at them. And if they ever came into contact with velcro? Oh the horror!

Synne, I've seen some high end brands with tweed that contained like only 5% wool, I was thinking why bother I think you can use cotton. They will use synthetics in a lot of them too, except for maybe heritage brands like Harris tweed type of things.

Karen Millen is often good for items like these skirts, I bought this skirt a few years ago. Alas, not as gorgeous as the Gucci’s, but a fraction of the price. You may want to check out the Real Real for second hand designer pieces if you want the real thing.

I used to wear this style (but of course not Gucci) when I was young and thin and worked in an office. I think Boden does a nice A-line skirt but it is probably a wool blend. Banana Republic maybe? I wonder if someone does a version in a ponte-like fabric. I think the fabric content in a style like this may be the sticking point.

L.K. Bennett has some great short tweed skirts, and usually has a few London in the 60s style pieces in their overall mix that might appeal to you.

This is my opportunity to say Gucci Gucci Gucci! I do love Gucci style - old and new. Re A-line skirts, I always say I want more pencil skirts and then buy another A-line, lol...
