OK, I wore my ponte pants today and I have come to conclude that they are just too big By the end of the day, they looked horribly baggy. I feel bad for my mom who bought them for me and paid for the alterations so I'd like to be able to pay her back if I'm not going to wear them, so if I could sell them to a YLFabber I'll feel much better knowing that a) I can pay mom back and b) they will go to a worthier home.
They are marked as a size 4 (could probably fit a size 6, or a 4 with fuller hips and thighs than me) and I had them hemmed. Stretching the legs a bit did work, so they will work on a 29" or 30" inseam (with varying levels of scrunch). I'll take measurements tomorrow but I just want to see if there is any interest in them. I only wore them twice.
So, part of me wants to replace them with another pair of ponte pants because although ill-fitting, they were as comfortable as pajamas! But part of me doesn't want to extend this headache any longer and just get woven skinny pants. I don't know where to find inexpensive woven skinnies that I can wear to work, though. If anyone does, let me know...
