Hi all! Just wondering if anyone uses Seint makeup and how they find it? Does it live up to the hype? I'm not generally into contouring etc. but my friend was just raving about it (she doesn't sell it ftr!) and she is very simple and natural with her makeup - so it got me curious.

Would love to hear reviews if anyone has tried! Thx

ETA - or if you have any other *easy peasy* contour products/tips that you use, lmk also

I do . I started with it a few years ago and have to admit it’s probably the best face makeup I’ve ever used . The eyeshadow - no , and the lip/cheek has been hit and miss but the rest of it really works for me . I have had to unfollow most of the IG Seint people though - it’s a bit too aggressive and crazy for me .

It's meant to be really easy application of contouring, which I have no idea how to do. But I am a sucker for new makeup so might give it a try, maybe as a Christmas gift to myself of something ...

Never heard of it, but personally I would stay away from any known MLM with a 39 1/2 foot pole! There are so many indie options on ETSY where the $ goes directly to the maker instead of selling false hopes. Just my 2c.

I'm less into the contouring part - which is what I meant when I said some of the IG feeds are crazy - but I love the fact that I can have a small palette with cream makeup in several colours that has multiple uses. The woman I order through approached me once about selling for her but I shut that down as quickly as she brought it up. It's never been an issue since. Its a woman-owned brand, and I don't feel bad about supporting it at all.

I follow someone on Instagram who uses that, I think sells it too. She always looks really nice so it's tempting. I'm a pretty simple makeup user though so not even sure where to start. I would definitely not do the contouring and that stuff but I like the idea of a cream foundation. And every once in a while I get dressed up enough to want a subtle eyeshadow. Keep us posted if you try it!

It's the contouring part that intrigues me - I feel like as I'm getting older my features are getting 'flatter' if that makes sense ... I'm losing definition or something. But I have no intention of spending an hour with 18 different brushes contouring my face; that's the appeal of this - it *looks* so simple ...

If anyone has any other easy-peasy contouring products or tips, please feel free to add those too DD seems to think I could get the same result with a subtle bronzer and my regular blush, so I might play around with that a bit this week ...

Helena- I use the technique of 3-D makeup with a different palette. It really is simple and works. I think I am going to upgrade to a better palette, but not sure if I will go with Seint.

Ooh chewyspaghetti - do you mind me asking which palette you use currently? And if there are any specific tutorials you've found good? (I just looked up 3D technique and there are a million so I'm sure I can find, but if you have a favourite do share!)

I haven't tried Seint unfortunately but just wanted to share that I use the Fenty Beauty Matchstix for my 'everyday' makeup (I don't actually wear makeup everyday, but on my teaching days I sometimes swipe the:
~ light 'trippin' highlighter stick on my centre eyelids & atop my cheeks,
~ medium shiny 'rum' on the outer crease & apex of my cheekbones,
~ darker 'mocha' in the hollows of my cheekbones & jawline).
~ two other 'nude' colours to cover blemishes & dark circles (so like traditional concealer, I guess).

I like that the sticks are travel friendly (no powders or liquids) & magnetic - so easy to keep them together in my makeup bag!

Funny you should ask this: I was just thinking the same thing and ordered a contour stick from Westman Atelier -- mostly because Sephora was out of stock of the color I'd take in the Fenty stick Zaeobi just mentioned. Glad for the thread and the recs!

I love Seint. I have been using it for four years. I never knew how to contour prior to this makeup. It's super easy and gives the most natual glow on my almost 55 year old skin. I get compliments daily on my skin which is by far not perfect.

I very much wanted to love it. However... it has a massive acne-causing ingredient in it. Since my skin is acne prone, I decided to skip it. Which stinks. Cream makeup is so lovely and makes for beautiful and easy contouringl. <3 I hope you try it and love it!! <3
