Does anyone know when anthropologie will have their next big sale?

Recently they were halving a 1/2 off sale on all boots, and I couldn't have been more overjoyed, but I went to their site again and they had less clothes and shoes on sale in my size then I've ever seen before. Maybe all their sale items got bought up during their last big sale? Anyway, I'd love to do some christmas shopping there, but only if they have a sale. Even if they don't have a big christmas sale, I wanna know when the next one is coming around. Please

I have never even heard of Anthropologie having a "big sale." I don't even bother looking at that store anymore. The last thing I got there was a hat, and even so I ended up taking advantage of my friend's 40% employee discount to get it.

Just out of curiosity, how did you hear about the sale? I get emails from them but I don't think I ever got one about 1/2 off all boots.

For some strange reason, I have never seen anthropologie advertise a sale. Even their website doesn't bother mentioning it. I get email from them as well, but I only realized there was a boot sale because I was looking through the boot section and I noticed that every single one of them was 50% off. I have no idea why anthropologie chooses not to advertise their sales, but when they do have them, it's worth it to shop there. That's why I have to ask around about when their biggest sales are. I think a lot of people, who could otherwise easily afford their stuff, still believe that they are overpriced, and it's because no one ever knows about their sales. And also because, in some misguided attempt to seem extra classy, they always carry a few items that are WAY outside the normal price range of their merchandise. $800 boots for example.

Anthro is just anti-advertising period, it seems. It's amazing that they enjoy as much popularity as they do despite their insane prices and lack of promotion.
