Does anyone know how Yves Saint Laurent shoes run?

I'm taking a huge gamble and having a friend bid on a pair of boots for me. They're insanely cheap right now. I'm not used to taking risks like this.

Risks can be good. I'm guessing the boots have a heel. My YSL Tributes are like the majority of my euro designer shoes, 1/2 size up for heels.

They're not a 1/2 size up and they do have a heel. Fingers crossed. The auction is closing today and the suspense is killing me. There is no way I could do this regularly.

I just bought the Tributes as well and went up 1/2 size (am a straight 9 and went to a 39 1/2). DressLover--do you love yours? I'm still having guilt about mine...

I think their shoes run MORE true to size than others (like Louboutins where I have to wear a 40/41) so you should be good--maybe you go to a nylon stocking in lieu of a sock. GOOD LUCK!

Auburn, I love mine! I do agree YSL is on the closer to US sizing though. I'd say:

US Sizing > YSL > Jimmy Choo/Manolo Blahnik > Valentino/Prada > CL (I left out some, but just tried to hit generals.)

At least in the styles I wear, which are heels, so that is with a grain of salt. I can never figure out SW. Their sizing is just wonk to me no matter what.

Anyway, all the rambling means Anna you should be good as long as you are sock-less.
