does anyone else go nuts buying stuff in a single color?

I've always liked coral/tomato red, which has led to a bit of a shopping binge recently since it seems to be a big color for this spring:

Sometimes I feel like ALL of my clothes are brown and green, and I look like a tree. Then I get over myself, and buy more green and brown! I'm all for stocking up when your colors are popular, so there's no reason to hold back!

Yes - if I find a color that I love and looks good on me, I will definitely buy as many items as I can find in that color! You should see my closet right now - teal and purple are having a convention in there!

Oh, yes! I've only recently discovered certain colors that I love consistently. I went nuts getting red everything, and now I'm on a mission to stock up on citron! I feel wishy-washy about other colors, but I really love those... so it's either go nuts or be stuck in full neutrals -- I vote for nuts!

I have had entire seasons where everything new I bought was either a neutral, or coral, or turquoise, or teal--- or at least it feels like that. I also had a time period where I had like six brown shirts of various styles and it seems like I wore brown every week almost all week. On the plus side, during these seasons everything I owned was flattering and I didn't have much problem with my basics going with everything. Sometimes I did get tired of the color by the end of the season or two-- but by then the pieces had gotten lots of wear. I think with something like tomato red (especially that sheath) is something that you can put away for a little while if you tire of it and pull it back out or remix it in a fresh way next season. Drooling . . . .

I wear a lot of blues, grays and purples and I don't expect that to change. I get comments at work from time to time about it, but that's fine, I like the colors I like! The nice thing is, when I do wear a color outside of my "usual" everyone always really notices!

Yeah, all the time.... esp when a color is really trending. Last fall, it was teal for me. Glad I stocked up 'cause I really like the color, and I know it will not be available again as much for awhile. I've also done it with red because in the past, I've had whole seasons when I could not find a decent red. When I find it and like it--I buy!!!

I agree with SW Ann; sometimes you have to take advantage of the season to stock up on the colours that work for you!

My default setting is blue, specifically navy blue.

Whatever I'm looking at, I always gravitate towards the navy blue version!

I have three denim dress and two olive green dresses (with plans on buying a third soon), so yeah- I do it too!

Yes. This season has been particularly bad. I LOVE olive and navy and they have been in abundance this season. As has been denim tops/jackets There are other seasons that I don't buy a thing because I just don't like the colors.

Yep, that's me! Every time I became obsessed about any color, I start to buy everything in it. Like last year I was obsessed with grey, so I bought myself 2 pair of grey pumps, 2 grey T-shirt, grey sweater, grey jeans, grey cardigan, grey pearls, grey scarf, grey handbag, grey trousers and grey sandals. This year I feel like I need add something purple, so I started with purple sweater, amethyst ring, amethyst bracelet ... ypu got hte idea. Over a few years my wardrobe will be very colorful, but my checking account very pale.

Take advantage of it while it lasts. This color is not going to be hot forever, and if you love it, this is your chance to stock up. I still wear the 50's inspired BR stuff I got from about 7 years ago, that was a great collection. I only wish I got more of it.

I sure do. I have a ton of black, green, grey, lime green, purple and turquoise. Buy what you love when you see it because if you wait it will be gone.
