Dang, Lyn, you have this down to a science! Thanks for the link to the EA site; it was very informative. And I am in the U.S., so I don't need to worry about duties.
So if I'm understanding right, Anthro normally doesn't have a site-wide sale ("20% off everything"), just the cuts. I like your idea of holding on to the item until you need it and possibly getting it cheaper a couple of months later. Some of my items are out-of-season, so that will work.(There is an Anthro store about twenty minutes from me, so I can return without too much hassle.)
I just checked the Anthro website, and it says that they will offer a one-time price adjustment for items that go on sale within 14 days of your shipment. That's a pretty decent window. That means some of my stuff will most likely get marked down and I can recoup a bit of what I spent.
A lot of the items I am ordering are to try to help me wear some near orphans, so I hate to wait and risk them getting sold out in my size (which goes quickly). Knowing that I can get the price adjustment if a sale does occur, and with your strategy of holding on to something until I really need to wear it, I think I will go ahead and buy.
My poor credit card...I have never ordered this much clothing at one time in my life. Very scary, even though I know half of it (at least) will probably be returned!
