Do you wear white ankle boots?

Hi Everyone,

I was looking at UmmLila's post and I adore her white boots. Has anyone purchased white ankle boots for the spring 2018 season? What are your suggestions? I'm thinking about purchasing some but I think white patent leather would be easier to clean for me. I'm afraid once I start wearing them outside they will get dirtier with each wear. I recently purchased the Cady Stiletto Sock Boot from Target in red(3" heel). This is the style I am looking for in white. (I'm also open to other suggestions). They are very inexpensive fabric shoes. The shoe also comes in white and hot pink but I feel the white version of this shoe will not stay that way for long. I'm guessing I would need to buy a much better quality shoe in white made from material that can easily be cleaned when necessary. What are your experiences wearing the white ankle boot look? I think the white manmade (is it polyurethane?) is a nice choice because the shine adds drama. Manmade materials are easy to clean because they basically just accumulate dirt and scuff marks. Dirt comes off with soap and water, and scuff marks come off with nail polish remover.

I probably won't be getting any because I'm saving my pennies lately. But I do love how they look.

Haven't owned a white pair of boots or booties for decades. I once had a pair of white mid-calf leather boots and used them a lot. Despite others' warnings that they would soon get more or less ruined, I was able to keep them looking fine for two or three years.

For a very long time, I have seen few white boots in real life, and none that I would like to wear. However, I love the look of the white ankle boot Suz is showing here, and would like to get a similar one.

I had a pair from Dr Marten Oh I loved those they zipped up the middle where the laces would have been. sadly that is not my life anymore. Angie says dress for the life you have.

Despite me being a brunette, and despite the better part of my wardrobe being black, I recently bought white booties (almost flat with black goring on the sides and slightly pointed toes). It was hard to coordinate them with outfits until I bought an ivory scarf, and now I wear them regularly. I have white shoe polish, so anything that won't come out with a cleaner can be polished away. I get compliments on the boots all the time, and they were well worth it.

Somehow I like bone or ivory footwear for me, but not pure white. I am a bit the same with clothing. I do have white trainers though and like pure white in a striped tee shirt.

I admire the white boots on others but will leave it there.

I'm like Sal - not really into white footwear at all (although I would wear the white Birkenstocks if my feet could hold onto them). It's fun to look at white booties on others, but for me they're just not right.

Yes! I wear mine a lot. My white boots are leather which I have sprayed with a leather protector. After wearing them I will wipe them down with baby wipes. I do like having the option of being able to easily clean them and I would have reservations about white fabric boots. I have blonde hair and these are a fun way of almost bookending my hair - my metallic shoes and boots are probably a better match. My light grey boots also have a similar effect, and may be another colour you could consider as an alternative to white.

Although I'm scare to death to wear white shoes and booties, I just bought these white booties because it was so outside of my norm. Plus the price was right and they looked fab on.
