I saw this on the runway and loved it but the price is insane, plus I don't think mink is practical in Seattle.

Cute concept though! I'm sure that if you fly to HK or Tokyo, you'd find a fab faux fur copy

I would totally expect it to be knocked off! Super cute and it seems like it would be easily reproducible at pretty much any price point!

Last night on CBS 60 Minutes there was a beautiful piece on the Jaguar in Central America...The photographer was able to get close enough to take some exquisite shots...From the rarity of this animal, I would doubt that Burberry is able to sell authentic Jaquar fur...I pity the poor animal of whatever species who had to sacrifice for this hat, so that some person could wear " fur " hat...

I just read somewhere that pageboy and newsboy caps are coming back... I don't know if many brands will decide to combine that shape with the fur look (faux or otherwise).

Personally, I'm fine with the fur and skin of animals that are plentiful and that get eaten regularly... cow, rabbit. The exotic furs of endangered animals make me wince, though. I know you didn't ask about that, but it seems like the topic is unavoidable.

I'm with Angie. I live in a place where people wear actual wolf heads as hats. Not a fan. But a faux knock off could be cute!
