I used to fit them in before leaving for school in the morning, when my hair and make-up are fresh, and my clothes are still clean ;). But Una posted a lovely complement about backlighting on a recent thread, and it reminded me that I've come to prefer pics taken in the afternoon.
The light is softer here in the evenings, and I'm more relaxed and less rushed at the end of the day. And I often don't have time to post until the evening, regardless of when I took the pic. So, apart from having to comb my hair and reapply some lipstick, I've come to prefer taking WIWs in the afternoons. If it is late afternoon, and the picture is backlit, I sometimes need to put the flash on to prevent a dark 'sillouette' shot.
