Do you opt for expedited shipping?

I placed an order on the first day it was open to ordinary cardholders. Some shoes have shipped, but none of the coats or the sweater. It’s now been five days, and they’re still “getting ready”.

Do you choose (and pay for) expedited shipping?

Never! Maybe I would if I had a special occasion coming up. I was able to order a day early due to (red faced) over ordering that somehow put me in the Ambassador category. They must have miscounted, right?

Those very first orders arrived super quick. I also tried in-store delivery to get a $10 note, and that order arrived in HOURS. The store must have had it in stock.

As to my latest orders? Still "Getting Ready" after DAYS.

I am taking my returns back to the store almost immediately. I ordered a bunch of stuff for DH who never ever shops, so it was a matter of figuring out what *cuts* work for him and learning that jeans sizing and chino sizing runs differently.

nope...unless its an emeregency....
both my orders, which actually ended up as 3 shipments, came super fast...but...3 of the 4 items came from a central warehouse, and 1 item came from a store....its been my experience that shipping from a store, or a vendor/manufactor can take much longer. sounds like the sweaters and coats are probably coming from store stock

I don't normally, but did for my first couple NAS orders. I figured I was saving overall, so what was $12 to avoid the frustration and to be able to reorder/swap sizes before the sale opened to everyone else?

Only if I need to travel soon but still want to shop. Otherwise free shipping and free returns are good.

Not normally, but it depends. The cost of the expedite, how much I’m spending on the items, if I have deadlines. With something like NAS, I probably wouldn’t. The Sale isn’t open to the general public yet - there’s time - and things will be coming in and out of stock, so paying the fee could be a wash anyways.

Normally I’m too cheap. I have only used it once for Nordies - leaving on vacation and got my navy side stripe jumpsuit for opera and a cruise. So glad I did! And I occasionally upgrade if it is only few bucks for certain retailers who seem to take forever to ship - Athleta comes to mind.

Nope. If I’m afraid something will sell out, I’ll get multiple sizes in the first place. But after that article I posted in Inges biweekly link love post about where returns go, I’m rethinking that. I do think it’s ok to turn at Nordy’s because I’ve seen returned items at the Rack.

Never. I got tired off getting so many boxes shipped to my house and having to recycle them. So this year, I am having them delivered to the store. If things can cancelled, so be it.

I did once, a last minute item for a special event I'd spent months shopping for. And it ended up being the item that made the entire outfit work.
I considered doing it for NAS this year as I thought it would give me a better chance to get my items, and time to exchange, etc. But I didn't. I forgot that I was thinking about it. Most of my items were not the popular ones, so only one I wasn't attached to has cancelled.
