What a funny, great thread. My are exactly the same as yours April. Same effect with my much taller (3inches) sister and the bathing suits BUT when I got to the description of the bulge at the armpit I was laughing to self - ditto.
A friend of mine who is a classically trained and practicing sculptor says it is the sexiest part of a woman. Fleshier the better. So there you go...

Own it.

At 6ft I will not shy away from heels if they feel right for my outfit. I am more likely to dismiss heels because of the comfort factor, not extra height they'd give me.

And as pear, I no longer desperately try to hide my thighs. I have learnt how to achieve the outfit balance and - more importantly - happiness with my outfit, to focus unnecessarily on what I used to perceive as imperfection. Today I'm wearing plaid pencil skirt.

I have a long torso and stumpy little legs. (I'm 5'2"; when I sit next to my 5'10" husband in our dining room chairs, we are the same height but my feet don't touch the ground.) In dresses and skirts, which I don't wear often, I'm happy to wear things that lengthen the leg line, but I strongly prefer trousers and jeans, and I like them low or mid rise.

I also usually wear low heels or flat shoes. Just. Ain't no trick on earth gonna make my legs look ACTUALLY long, so I'm just going to be comfy.

Gorgeous confident girl(s), here-I love! Still, I hide my apple tummy(when it's possible) but I can't own my flat rear, either- lol:-)

Great question and I love the very real and honest responses! So good to know we're not alone. Embracing pale, white skin. (High five Toronto Girl!) Showing spider veins. (High five Angie!) Not hiding broad linebacker shoulders. (High Five Una!) Likewise bony clavicle and tiny, small chest. (High five Joy!) Tall and over 6 ft in any heel. (High five Sveta!) Own them all. As I've gotten older, I've decided life is much, much too short and I'd rather spend my time on things other than trying to be something I'm not!
