That is an awesome belt, Gryffin. I have this strange attraction to hip belts with chain/link detail - I think because medieval maidens always wear some sort of low-slung girdle like that across the hips of their splendid gowns. Not sure that an hourglass/pear should be wearing that style, but I digress.

I can't think of a lynchpin for myself, either. Belts are almost that, but I can be happy in some belt-less outfits. I'd say hair, but I vary the styles from updos to pretend-bob to long & flowing, so not that either. Brown? Haha.

Alasse - what a gorgeous image of medieval ladies dresses and belts!! Did you see the "Robin Hood" with Patrick Bergen and Uma Thurman? - she was exquisite in her wedding dress. I have a major thing for renfaire style clothing!! You do have very pretty hair - I don't think changing up the style negates it being literally your "crowning glory!!" It certainly is a focal point no matter how you style it!!

No, I haven't seen it; sounds interesting. I've been to a renfaire once, and once bought a totally impractical cloak in that style off Ebay. That's my fantasy style.

My brown pumps. It totally makes my outfits.
In my winter wardrobe its my brown boots:)
So yes I am a shoe gal

Hmmm, I'm too much a lover of variety to wear any one thing very often - I'll have to make a blanket statement and say my shoe collection.

Alasse - don't feel bad, I am the only one I know who has their own black velvet quilted doublet (we used to have someone do a fab halloween party, it was great while it lasted!!)
Ramya - ooohhh love shoes but esp boots!! I am sure your brown pumps and boots are toally awesome!! Great choice on lynchpin!!
Linda - a cool shoe collection can definitely be a lynchpin catagory (ie Mary K and her pencil skirts). Great shoes are a fabulous trademark!!
