Angie’s post today got me thinking about what is a measure of ‘backbone’ in a closet. Going through my neutrals - black and Navy (including dark denim) I discovered, unsurprisingly, that they feature ancross all areas of my closet - from head to toe.

‘Finds’ below is one selection made from each clothing category - not that I would wear these specific items together!

I can do this with red as well (I include wine/burgundy in my red capsule.) However, red is a ‘colour’ for me.

I suspect some people can do this with white, and possibly other neutrals like grey and olive. Do your neutrals cut across all closet categories? Are you committed to any colour sufficient to do this?
