Do these look like pajama pants?

Not necessarily looking to buy these, but I have been interested in the printed pant trend yet never found any. Tried on a few iterations from H&M, but the fit was terrible for me. Wondering if a slouchy fit vs. skinny fit makes it better, or if it just looks like silk pajamas.

It's possible I'm just not cut out for the printed pants trend this time around...

Are those the Alice & Olivias? I pinned a pair and love them - I think they have a gothic floral vibe to them.

The cropped length makes them look non-pyjama and they are crisper than your usual satin pyjamas. Go for it!

I don't think pants with cuffed tapered legs could look like pjs. But I would avoid elastic all the way around the waist. . . .Those are might pretty!

Worn like this, with such a fiery print, no, they don't look like pajamas, and I think they would look fantastic on you.

They are satiny, but they have more structure than pajamas. I think the tapered fit, pleat, waistband and cuff makes them much more wearable. Try them on, I think they'd look great on you!

I think they have enough structure at the waist to not look like pajamas. The color and print are great!

No, I don't think they look like PJs because they don't have the dreaded elastic waistband. However, I do have to say that I have poison eye for short shiny pants unless the leg openings are very, very slim.

No, not at all! I think you would totally rock these, adding some of those awesome tops and jackets of yours. I agree with Diana, though, they must be narrow enough in the leg opening.

Hmmm... I am assuming my ankles must be much fatter than the model's... However the ankles might still not be tapered enough because they would be much longer on me. I guess I should investigate to see if there is a store near me in case I need to return.

Rae, my only worry would be that you are often cold - this is what stopped me from getting them as they are totally climate-inappropriate! You live in a much warmer place - would these be hot-weather wear?

Yes, they would be for warmer weather a la the shoptoberfrst pants and my black silk slouchy pants.

I am somewhat wary of the patterned pants trend, but I love the floral print in these. How can you go wrong with red and black!

I think they'd only look like pajamas if the fabric was drapy and a little shiny. Those seem all right -- a bit too crisp for pjs.
