Do these Loft pants work as "almost slouchy" pants?

I am not big on slouchy pants but lately I have been interested in finding an updated/somewhat slouchy alternative to skinny pants for wearing to work. What do you think of these? Loft is having a 40% off everything sale ("friends and family") so I picked up these pants (Marisa straight) and this sleeveless shirt for work.

I think these look attractive but the photo it is hard to see details. Black is hard to photo anyway and the whole image is a bit dark so I am having a hard time making out exactly the cut. The gray top is very pretty

Are these the same Marisas as the linen ones I am showing? The linen ones are pleated with the pleats sewed down. I am between sizes so bought the larger of my two sizes and they are definitely slouchy on me as well, although it might not show in the pics. If these are similar, I am sure they would work, and from what I can see from the photo, they look super fab on you!!

Sarah, I totally agree, it's hard to take a good picture of black pants.

It's hard to tell from the photo, but I think I'd call it more "ease" than slouch." That's just semantics though -- I like the looks of these pants with the the toppers you have here --- it creates a very fluid, but streamlined silhouette. Could you tuck tops into these trousers and belt as well?

Yes..."ease" probably is a better word, Beth Ann. That's sort of how they look on the website, too. It is interesting how the cuts are changing now overall. The pants you couldn't find if your life depended on it last fall are now in the stores.
