Do these Canadiennes look dated?

I got them for a great price and they are very comfortable. They are described as having a tapered toe silhouette. Basically they are pointy but end in a small square tip.
Do you think they look dated?

I have these in Brown suede. Love them! I don't think they look dated. They look esp. nice with trousers.

I have taller La Canadiennes with a similar toe shape from four or five years ago. I actually think the toe looks much less dated now than it did when I bought them somehow. As to why I bought boots with a dated toe shape at the time -- walkable, weatherproof, and a short enough calf height can balance a multitude of issues!

I have a very similar pair of Anne Klein boots that i feel are in and out of style depending on the day. But i like them and always get compliments on them, so they have stayed in my rotation. I also think that whAt you are wearing with them makes a difference.

They may not have the most current toe shape, but overall they have a look of refinement that is very current. So I would say if you got them at a great price and they are comfortable, enjoy them!

It's just that sometimes you think you got a great price and you are really getting stuck with something dated, so I appreciate all the opinions given here.
Aubergine, I agree, that is also why I got them. They are a great brand and super comfy and warm.
WindyCity, you brought up a good point about the styling.
Thanks Suz. I also thought they looked refined but somehow I did not trust myself. They have a 2.5" heel which is very comfortable and makes them suitable for work while in comfort and with warm feet...

I think a small square toe is fine. Like Suz said they might not be cutting-edge style wise, but I'm pretty sure it's the very wide and exaggerated square toes that are really dated--not these.

Canadiennes are beautiful boots! If these had a blunt, heavy toe and less refined shape I would call them dated. I have two pairs of boots with this toe shape and I'm still wearing them. I like a variety of shapes in my closet!

I also have a similar pair of this brand from a few years ago in a dark grey suede with a shorter wedge heel. I wear them a lot with trousers (the wedge seems heavy with skirts), they are so comfortable and warm.

I would not call them dated. Not exactly trendy, but who cares! Comfortable winter booties!!
