Do these booties gape too much

Elle, I am sorry to hear this:( Please keep in touch and it would be lovely to see if we could meet up this time. I am on holiday from work for most of January.

Personally I like the boots, not too much room IMHO.

Sorry to hear that as well, it must be very tough. I hope that you will be able to find the support that you (may) need to cope and move on! (Please don't take offense at what I say, I only mean that sincerely )

That being said, back to the original point, would you be wearing those booties as they are right now? I feel that they gape too much for me, but if it was low contrast (with black tights/hose), it may be acceptable. I also feel like the gape has to do with more than just the bottom half of the legs though (does it look proportional the rest of the body/legs?)

But those are just my two cents.

So sorry to hear the bad news. I hope this will turn out to be a fresh start for you.

As for the booties, in my opinion, they do gape too much--at least if you want to wear them with bare legs or hose/tights. I ordered several pairs of booties (well, shooties mostly) before settling on a pair of Vince Camuto shooties that don't gape too bad. I like that because then I'm not limited to wearing them with only certain types of bottoms.

I'm sorry, Elle. As for the booties, if it were me I'd hold out for some with less gape. I have some that are rather roomy around the ankles. I thought I could wear them with pants at least , but the pants keep getting hung up on the edge of the shoes.
